Patna: The surge in Covid cases among doctors and students has encouraged medical colleges and hospitals to take steps that aim to limit the spread of the virus.
PUSNA MEDICAL COLLEGE AND Hospital (PMCH) Dr.
VP Choudhary on Monday ordered Covid’s compulsory test from all MBBS 2019 Batch and 900 dormitories students who lived in seven hostels.
He said even though the exact number of doctors, students and staff who had been tested positive for Covid were unknown, some students who lived in the hostel had complained of problems such as cough and headaches and tests needed.

They included 80 students of MBBS and 16 doctors.

Dr.
Manish Mandal’s Igims supervisor said a PG student among them had returned after his marriage.
He has been asked to be isolated and get his wife and other people in the family tested by a virus.
He said, even though only eight positive patients received by IGIM, 100 beds were provided for covid patients there.
It includes 50 beds for children.
With four more doctors in the AIims-Patna test positively, the number of infected health workers there rose to six, the nodulus officer said the Covid Dr.
