Bhubaneswar: BJD on Monday confirms his request for the provision of the first independence tag in 1817 Paika Bidroha, sucking the central rejection to do so is an insult to rich and peaceful history with Odia self-esteem.

Even when the Union minister said that the decision had been taken to include Paika Bidhroha as a case study in the history of the history of class VIII history related to Monsin Sepoy 1857, BJD said it was painful that an important rebellion made just a footnote to the event 1857.
Citing the statement Former Minister of Human Resources Development Prakash Javadekar has made it in the city on October 23, 2017 that Paika Bidhroha will find a place as the first war of independence to the British government in history books and students will study factual history 1817, BJD said the request must be fulfilled immediately.
BJD said Paika Bidroha had lasted 40 years before the uprising of 1857, which was later referred to as the first war of Indian independence on British regulations.
Paika’s rebellion also put under the leadership of Baxi Jagabandhu, who continued to inspire Odias since then, said the party.
With the state government celebrating the bi-centenary celebration in 2017, the Cabinet has agreed to a proposal to move the first war center from the independence tag for Paika Bidha, after the Head of Minister of Naveen Patnaik has been written to the same center.
