Jaipur: Following cold waves and misty weather conditions in the state, the State Election Commission (SEC) on Monday changed the timing of vote counting for the selection of Samiti Panchayat and Zila Parishad.
Time for calculation, to be held on Tuesday, has been changed from 9am to 11am, said Chief Electoral Officer and Sec secretary Chitta.
The election for Zila Pramukh and Pradhans was held in four districts – Kariauli, Busan, Ganganagar and the city.
The Secretary has directed the District Election Officer (DEO) from these districts to notify political candidates and parties about changing time.
In the first phase, voters 64.35 percent have used their franchise, 68.57 percent of the bridge recorded in the second phase, while in the third phase, the purification of 68.99 percent was recorded in three districts.
Overall, 67.25% of polls were registered in three phases of Panchayat poll in four districts above.
Gupta further said the code of ethics for the election of Panchayat Samiti and Zila PA Rishad in four regencies effectively until December 24.
