Thiruvananthapuram: To get Covid-19 compensation, the deceased relatives must apply before the district collector in accordance with the guidelines prepared by the state government.
The figure committee of the death of five members at the district level will examine the application.
According to the guideline for channeling 50,000 RS compensation, the Five Member Committee will be formed in the Regency.
District medical officers, additional district judges, district disullication officers, a doctor from the Ministry of Medical Medical Medical College and a public health expert will become a member of the committee.
This committee will examine the application received at the district scavenger office.
The district government will begin receiving applications from October 10 and so on.
The District Screening Committee has been formed according to the guidelines of the center.
The Committee will make decisions about the application within 30 days of receipt of the application.
The application to get compensation must be submitted to the district collector along with the death certificate received from the local body concerned.
The application must be submitted through online under the e-health portal https://covid19.kerala.gov.in/deathinfo/.
According to the guidelines, online systems for archiving requests and appeal mechanisms were developed by e-Health Kerala to ensure proper record and decision making.
This system is made simple and easily accessible by the next relatives of the deceased.
The committee has been told that the addition of the calculation of death must be indicated properly to each sub category in accordance with the additional criteria mentioned in new guidelines and appropriate statistics maintained in the system.
Death from Covid stated that far and the Death Declaration Document given to relatives of those who died by the Department of Health and family welfare were legitimate documents for ex-gratia payment requests processing.
The State Health Department will soon publish a list of Covid deaths that have been added to the new guidelines issued by the center.
All deaths occur within 30 days after a person becomes a positive Covid-19 will also be included in the new list.
It has been decided to keep a new list as separate without entering it into the data data of the deaths announced by the state government.
