Thane: Thirty-six people fell ill after having a prasad in a village in Panvel, an official said on Sunday.
Prasad was distributed in a temple at Rithghar on Saturday on the occasion of ‘Datta Jayanti’, Panvel Tehsildar Vijay Talekar to PTI.
“Thirty-six people complained about the problem of giddiness, nausea and stomach after having a prasad.
They were accepted at the hospital and many were discarded too.
All stable at this time.
The medical team was in the village to monitor the situation,” he said.
