Paris: French authorities said on Tuesday they were investigating a gasoline bomb attack which caused small damage to the Cuban Embassy.
The Paris Prosecutor’s Office said the investigation was underway.
No one was arrested or claimed responsible, police said.
Police Paris said two gasoline bombs hit the embassy Monday night.
The fire came out when firefighters arrived, police said.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry International Press Center said three Molotov cocktails were thrown, with two hit the embassy and turned on the fire.
Cuban diplomats extinguish the fire when the French firefight and police arrived at the scene, he said.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez blamed the United States for the attack.
Cuban Embassy in many cities around the world has become a place of demonstration both against and for the Cuban government as a reaction to protests that erupted throughout the island on July 11-12.
Cuba accused the US government in triggering a social media campaign that aims to not stand out for the Caribbean state, which experienced a severe economic crisis that was exacerbated by the Pandemic Coronavirus and US sanctions.
