Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal Patriarch Parkash Singh Badal, who recently recovered from Covid-19, was taken to a private hospital in Mohali for post-covid examination.
Former 94-year-old Punjab minister was taken to a Fortis Hospital in Mohali for a heart and lung examination, resources at the hospital said.
Badal was on January 24, it was dismissed from the hospital in Ludhiana where he claimed after he tested positive for Covid-19 a few days earlier.
Parkash Singh Badal came from Muktsar to a private hospital in Mohali for a health check, said Harcharan Bains, the main advisor to Sad Head Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Sad Patriarch is advised to examine the caution of two weekly or tri-weekly and he has maintained this periodic regimen, especially after being tested for Covid-19, said Bains.
He added that Parkash Singh Badal routinely interacted with people in the election campaign in the state.
The previous party said that he would be taken to the Postgraduate Education and Research Institute in Chandigarh.
