Udupi: Active preparation for Pyennial Paryaya Mahotsava from Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt, which will be held on Tuesday.
On the occasion of the Paryaya Ritual, Srikrishnapura Mutt Seher Sri Vidyasagara Thirtha will rise Sarvajna Peetha from the famous Sri Krishna temple.
Over the next two years, the Seer will have the privilege of doing rituals and offering worship to the gods in Sri Krishna Mutt, after the Paryaya Festival.
The Parayaya ritual will begin at 2:15 a.m.
on Tuesday.
Paryaya Seer Sri Vidyasagara Thirtha will take the Holy Sauce in Danda Thirtha in Kuper, and then entered the Jodukatte in Udupi at 2:30 in the morning.
After performing Puja to ‘Pattada Devaru’ (Sri Krishna Idol) in Jodukatte, a procession will begin, and it will reach the car in the place of Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt at 4.15 in the morning.
At 4:30 a.m., the forecasters would have Darshan from the god which presented the temple through ‘Kanakana Kindi’.
Then, he will offer prayers to Chandramoulishara, Anantheshwara and Madhwacharya.
At 5:25 a.m., he will enter Sri Krishna Mutt and offer Puja and do rituals.
At 4:45 a.m., he would accept ‘Akshayarrowre’ and ‘Belli Suttuga’ (silver spoon) as part of tradition.
At Muhurtha which is profitable at 5.55 in the morning, the Seer will rise Sarvajna Pearha, and then offer rituals to gods.
A ‘Darbar’ or public meeting will be held at Rajangana in front of the fortune teller of Ashtamata (eight mutt) at 6.45 in the morning.
Cultural programs will be held at Rajangana on all days until January 22.
The program will be held until 9pm due to night hours.
Udupi SP n Vishnuvardhan calls for worshipers to watch the Paryaya ritual stay at home through streaming on the internet.
Complicated security settings will be made by deploying 70 senior police officers.
Police placement will include DSP, PSIS, 60 Asis, 710 police chiefs or police, four anti-sabotase examination teams, seven district armed reserves and two KSRP battalions, he added.
