MADRID: One of the busien airports of Spain, Palma de Mallorca, was forced to close for almost four hours after several passengers ran when their plane made an emergency landing, according to the airport authority.
The plane, who was on a flight between Morocco and Turkey, was diverted to Mallorca Mallorca Island on Friday because of the alleged medical emergency, the Civil Guard police force told AFP.
During the traveler’s evacuation that was supposed to be sick, around 20 passengers took the opportunity to escape when the plane was on the ground.
Two people were arrested, police said.
Investigators were working on the hypothesis that the medical incident was staged to enter Spain illegally, El Pais’s newspaper reported.
Passengers who complained about the inconvenience taken to the hospital, where he was stated in perfect and arrested health because “helped illegal immigration”, according to the daily.

Due to security incidents, 13 aircraft bound to Palma was diverted to other airports, and 16 flights departing suffered significant delays, according to the airport authorities.
The airport opened back on Friday after closing for about four hours.
