Patna: Two people were found to be shot dead in Hathiyakarai under the area of Shahpur Police Station near Danapur in Patna District on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Devendra Singh and Sanjay Singh from Hanumanganj under the Maner police station area.
Danapur DSP Imran Khan said the two deceased was a friend and left their home around 4pm on Monday to meet several people.
“The farmers saw the bodies in the morning.
They were shot in the head, temple and chest and thrown in the field,” he said.
“Their family said the land dispute was the reason behind twin murders and named several people,” he added.
