Patna: Three people, including fish traders, were killed in a separate incident under the area of Alamgaj, Gaurichak and Malsalama around and around the country’s capital in the last 24 hours.
The police said a 23-year-old young man was shot dead by a criminal in Pathan Toli under the Alamgaj police station area in Patna City on Monday after a fight.
The deceased was identified as MD SAIF, the autorickshaw driver.
Station House Officer (SHO) from the Alamgaj Police Station Sudhir Kumar said the incident occurred around 11 in the morning when Saif sat with his accomplice in Pathan Toli, a densely populated area.
According to Sho, one of the criminals was fired in Saif with a state-made gun.
He received a sad and rushed injury to Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) where the doctors claimed he was taken dead.
Police said a change occurred between Saif and some local anti-social about two months ago.
However, the dispute was completed after the intervention of several residents.
Daytime murder has sent a shock wave among the population.
In another incident, a 17-year-old young man, Ankit Kumar, was shot dead by unknown criminals near Koli Village under the Gaurich Police Station on Monday.
The victim was a resident of Saigunpur Village under the Gaurich Police Station.
Ankit’s family member told the police that he had left home around 1pm with a friend with a motorcycle carrying money with him.
The family received information about the incident a few hours later.
They immediately reached NMCH only to find Ankit Dead.
In addition to the incident, relatives of the victims and locals blocked Jalan Patna-Jehanabad and disrupted vehicle traffic for one hour.
The reason behind the murder has not been confirmed.
In another incident, a 48-year-old fish trader, Paras Sahni, was shot by an unknown criminal near Mathani Tal under the Malsalama police station at Patna City at around 9pm on Sunday.
Irked for the incident, the local residents blocked the road and pampered themselves in combustion.
The police said the merchant was attacked when he returned home from Nalanda.
Sho of Malsalami Police Station Pramod Kumar said the reason behind the incident was uncertain.
“Raids is above the arrest of criminals,” he added.
