Patna: MAGADH MAHILA COLLEGE (MMC), Universitas Patna (PU) Constituent Unit, will soon have a complete multimedia laboratory for the benefit of its students, said Vice-Chancelor Girish Kumar Choudhary on Monday.
Speaking as the main guest in the Valement Session of the Jubilee Platinum MMC celebration, Choudhary shows that the tender for the construction of the lab has been approved by the university and the work will begin soon.
Laboratories are estimated to be built at a cost of around RS50 Lakh.
In addition, campus computer laboratories will also be finished soon, he said.
Praising valuable contributions from universities for women’s empowerment through education, VC said women had shone in all fields with their commendable performances.
He called campus girls to serve the country by making meaningful contributions in all-round socio-economic developments.
VC appealed to teachers from Batch 2003 to submit a research proposal to subsequent transmissions to UGC and other funding agents so that the research standards in PU may be raised.
VC is made of 10 girls from the College who has secured a gold medal in different subjects in the University exam in 2020.
Each of them got a check for RS5,100.
The Gold Meverists ordered on that occasion including Aanchal Rai (Sanskrit), Ayesha Perveen (Urdu), Komal (Music), Ayushi Pragya (Economics), Riya Raj (Botany), Swati Gupta (Zoology), Monali Sinha (Mathematics), Ankita Kumari (BSC Computer Application), Ruchi Srivastava (BA Computer Application) and Ruchika Kumari (Social Work).
In addition, 57 college students, who have become rankings in the last PU exam, are also seconded on that occasion.
While the Humanities ranking holders were respected by Hindi Littérate Padma Shri Usha Khan Khan, they were respected by PU Pro-VC Ajay Kumar Singh.
The rankings of the faculty of science and vocational courses were detained by the State Coordinator of the Shivesh Ranjan State.
At first, Shashi Sharma’s Principal described the history of noble institutions and detailed various activities taken as part of the celebration of the Jubilee Platinum.
