Patna: The Patna High Court on Thursday asked a civil surgeon from all 38 countries to appear before on Friday and provide complete data on health infrastructure available at the district hospital and sub-divisions to handle the possibility of the third wave of Covid.

A division bench from the chairman of Judge Sanjay Karol and Justice S Kumar passed the Order while hearing a number of pandemic pills in the state.
It happened after observing that the Affidavit counter signed by the Department of Health Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Pratyaya Amrit had wrong information about health infrastructure such as sanctions posts and the number of doctors available, beds in government health centers.
In some districts, the doctor count approved and available is displayed as zero while there is no information about the demand and supply of oxygen mentioned in the written statement.
The court fell many on ACS and lawyers representing the state government.

The court has also requested AC to appear before Friday when this problem will be taken to hear through virtual mode.
“It seems that the written statement was wrong,” the court was observed verbally.
For this, additional advocates General Anjani Kumar asked permission to attract affidavit.
However, the court denied permission because the written statement was supplied from the Advocate General Office General.
AAG also handed over that the executive director of the state health community can appear before the court as an additional head secretary outside the station, but the request was immediately rejected by the court.
Bench simultaneously directed ACS to submit a new affidavit in the next four business days, detailing the infrastructure available at the hospital.
