Patna: Unknown armed criminals shot a young man near Saidpur Hostel under the Bahadurpur Police Station area in Patna City on Wednesday night.
The young man who was killed was Goal Kumar Singh (24), a native of Bahadurpur Village in the area.
He was first shot on the shoulder then in the head from behind from a very close distance.
Even though he rushed to the nearest private hospital but the doctor said he died.
The police said that Golu was accused of two cases of murder and a shooting case.
They said he was out of prison after being given a guarantee by the court about three months back.
The police also said that the Goal opened the fire at the entrance to Saidpur Hostel a few months ago.
The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m.
Police Station Bahadurpur Sanovar Khan said that the goal would go to Patna Railway Junction on a bicycle to drop my uncle when he was intercepted by the suspects.
“They went into a fight with a goal in the place he tried to reject.
In the middle, one of the suspects took out a gun and shot the eger killing him in place.
Uncle was an eyewitness for the entire incident,” he said.
Khan said that the police were very suspicious of the murder of the goal as a fallout of his competition with the occupants of Saidpur Hostel for a long time.
“The police will go through a backup CCTV camera from neighboring areas to find killers and ensure their identity,” he added.
