Nagpur: Secretary General of BJP Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Saturday demanded the resignation of President Nana Patole MPCC after a flip-flop for MLC candidates for the selection of local authority constituency.
Launched a spicy attack on Congress, Bawankule who was a BJP contestant for polls, said Patole was under pressure by two ministers from the city to withdraw support to Ravindra Bhoyar, who turned from BJP to Congress.
“Because of the two ministers, the Head of the MPCC had to change his decision at the last moment.
This shows that he was unable to lead the grand party of the Grand because he could not make his own decisions.
Because of him, the party faced acute shame to change imported candidates and support one independent.
He lost the right to lead the party, “said Bawankule to the media.
Patole cannot be contacted for comments about this issue.
Reveal the belief that he will win the election, the former minister of power says BJP has 318 votes and there are no other candidates who can win the polls.
“All the sounds outside this number will be from Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
There’s no point in saying that Bhoar was sent as a trojan horse to the MVA camp.
He himself went here and decided to stay with a party,” he said.
