Chandigarh: With more than 10 days left for the election of punjab and multi-click fights in most seats, candidates use cash distribution, gifts, and liquor to attract voters.
The level of persuasion can be measured by the fact that the Indian Election Commission (ECI) found 39% of complaints into reality.

Overall, 8,417 complaints were carried out for violations of different polls, where 6,367 was found correctly, which contributed 76.64% of total complaints.
A maximum of 7,097 complaints related to installing posters / banners without temporary permission 144 are about campaigns during the ban period, 98 for vehicles / convoys without permission and 41 to display firearms and intimidation.
CEO, Punjab, Karuna Raju stated that they had zero tolerance against every effort made by the contestant to bribe voters.
He said the instructions had been spent to act immediately when every complaint was received.
“All complaints about efforts to captivate voters have been discarded and act have begun in people where the accusation is found correct,” he said.
Ludhiana sustained a list of 2,626 complaints of violations of polls made in Ludhiana, the main industrial center of North India.
In 1,924 cases, the authorities act within an average of one hour 10 minutes.
The second highest number of 1,268 complaints has been made in Jalandhar, where the action is taken in 1.031 and the average time of actin is 34 minutes.
A total of 537 complaints were made in Bathinda, 484 in Hoshiarpur, 384 in Patiala, 364 in Amritsar, 303 in Tarn Taran, 289 in Ferozepur and 236 in Kapurthala.
