MySuru: The authorities here, attached to the Department of Public Teaching, has approached seniors in the department, looking for permission to start eight English-medium-middle government schools.

The Ministry of Education has established a Public School of Karnataka (KPS) and English Middle School to provide quality education, which is equivalent to private-middle-secondary schools.
There are 1,617 government, assisted and private schools in this district, where 12 schools are KPS, and 65 schools are English high school.
In accordance with the education policy, which directs the school to have a student-teacher ratio (PTR) below 30: 1, there should not be more than 30 students in the class.
Because there is a growing demand from parents to recognize their children in the Government of the Government of the Government, Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) Ramachandra Raje Urs, has written a letter to the Ministry of Education Commissioner, asking permission to run eight additional medium-middle secondary schools in the district.
