Vadodara: Plan to make liquor under the pretext of preparing ayurvedic syrup hatching in the vadodara center prison.
The key accused of in this case occurred in contact a few months ago while serving their requirements, officers from Prevention of Crime Branch (PCB) said on Thursday.
The researchers said that one of the keys to accusing Nitin Kotvani, who was arrested on Wednesday, revealed the modus operandi.
In April this year, Kotvani was arrested in a duplicate cleaning scam.
He got a guarantee in September.
“Kotvani met another key that was accused of Bhajanlal Bishnoi and Hanuman Bishnoi in prison.
Bhajanlal and Hanuman were arrested under the Libangan Law,” the police said.
The trio discusses plans to get fast money by making liquor under the Ayurvedic syringu unit.
While Kotvani interpreted a racket, Bhajanlal took a manufacturing unit at Sankarda Rent.
The trio then associated in others and began making foreign liquor India (IMFL) which was once supplied to various cities in the state.
The police have confiscated hundreds of liters of ethanol regardless of the engine from the unit during the raid more than a week ago.
PCB officials said that two of the defendants Sunil Pariyani and Bhavesh Sevkani had filed anticipatory guarantee but the police had submitted a written statement in court and opposed the guarantee application.
