Gorakhpur / Lucknow: Head of the Yogi Adityanath Minister said the rise of fertilizer factories in Gorakhpur “dreams turned into reality”, which was marked as “impossible missions” by opposition parties.

“Five governments come and go in the last 30 years.
Only the BJP government that has the courage to start this fertilizer plant in Gorakhpur,” he said.
CM spoke at the first ceremony of three mega projects in Turf’s house worth Rs 10,000 Crore, which included fertilizer factories, AIIM and Hi-Tech ICMR-RMRC hi-tech lab.
The factory was closed on June 10, 1990, after installation of losses from non-viability of technical and financial from operations, especially the high cost of Naptha.
An accident of an employee at the factory premise also contributed to its close.
Yogi said, the capacity of fertilizer factories that was revived would be four times the power of preshutdown.
Spread more than 600 hectares, the factory will now be operated by Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan Limited (HURL).
The cost of the resurrection was set at RS 8603 Crore.
This will have an installed capacity to produce 3,850 metric tons of urea ‘neem-coated’ per day and 12,7LEKH metric tons of fertilizer per year, which will increase domestic production of urea with 100kh tons of the scale of nearusus 250lakh tons.
The government was forced to import nearly 100 lakh tons of urea, according to available data.
CM said, Purvanchal had achieved a doubtful difference into a region full of diseases because of malaria, when azar and Japanese encephalitis.
“Thousands of children will die because of diseases and governments in the center and the state will remain a mute audience,” he said.
He showed that before 2014, there was only one medical college in Gorakhpur.
“Now, the medical college chain is being established in Uttar Pradesh with colleges established in Deoria, Kushinagar, Basti and Siddharthnagar.
Balrampur and Gonda will soon get medical colleges as well,” he said.
In the high coverage of vaccination above, the CM said, the world’s largest vaccination campaign runs under the capable guidance of PM Narendra Modi.
“Today has reached a milestone to manage 17 crore vaccines,” he said.
