Siddharth Nagar: In a big boost to the state health infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will simultaneously inaugurate seven new autonomic medical colleges from Buddhist land, Siddarth Nagar, on October 25.
The Chairman of Yogi Minister Adyityath, who was here to oversee preparation for PM visits, said that this was in line with the commitment of the state government to provide the best health facilities for the state community.
Apart from medical colleges in Siddharth Nagar, six other medical colleges for inaugurated in Deoria, taking Hardoi, Ghazipur, Mirzapur and Pratapgarh.

“Overall, the 700 MBBS seat will increase in Uttar Pradesh after the inauguration of seven medical colleges and it will be a record.
We have been number one in implementing 44 central schemes.” CM also said that previously there was Brd Medical College in Gorakhpur-Basti Zone and Now AIIMS is also ready and hopefully it will be inaugurated by PM Modi within one and a half months.

Siddharthnagar Medical College has been named after Madhav Prasad Tripathi, known as “Madhav Babu”, a popular freedom fighters, politicians, and the first president of Uttar Pradesh BJP.
All arrangements for hospitals, hostels, staff accommodation in this medical college are complete and the faculty has also been appointed, he added.
CM said that through this medical college not only the Siddharthnagar people but Balrampur, Maharajanjanj and neighboring Nepal will get the best medical facilities here.
