Thiruvananthapuram: The special court here on Wednesday sentenced a man to imprison hard to death because of a violation of raping and impregnating a 15-year-old girl.
Shiju, 26, Maryapuram was sentenced to a quick trajectory of a special court in the city for cases related to sexual harassment of children.
Judge R Jayakrishnan also imposed a 75,000 RS penalty in the culprit.
The crime related to this case took place in January 2019.
According to the case of prosecution, the victim, who lived under the boundary of the Poojapura police station in the city, was raped twice by the perpetrators when he was engaging in the field in the area.
According to the girl’s statement, the culprit was first knocking the door to find drinking water.
When he realized that no one else was at home, he was forcibly entered the house and raped him.
He also threatened him with a terrible consequence if he dared to file a complaint against him.
The next day he committed another crime after threatening him to open the door for him.
The girl was traumatized by this terrible experience and was not open to her parents or her friends.
Three months later, he fell ill and the doctors found that he was pregnant.
After the police registered the case and launched the probe.
The girl must undergo an abortion because of poor health.
Special Public Prosecutor R S Vijay Mohan and Kjith Prasad represent the prosecution.
The judge gave a hard Shiju prison sentence until his death after recognizing the prosecutor’s performances that the perpetrators did not deserve mercy.
