Patna: Patna Police have damaged the gang of cum drugs to arrest two members in Gardanibagh and recover 34 cellphones looted, three sports bikes, two women’s hand bags, ornaments and medicines on their recognition.
Raids and recovery began on Saturday night and finished late at night.
Gardanibagh Sho Sho Arun Kumar Said Golu Kumar alias Vicky (22) Dherachak under the Office of Police Jurisdiction and Rajkumar Paswan (23) from Kaushal Nagar under the airport police station arrested from their respective homes.
Kumar said 14 packages of brown sugar and 1.15kgs marijuana were recovered on their recognition.
Sho said the EXPERT BIKE RACER was the winner of the KTM Mania event where he had won a free sports bike worth around RS 3.5 Lakh from the same brand at least two years ago.
“Goals and their gangs are used to seize cellphones, bags from commuters on foot or those traveling with automatic rickshaws.
They also peddle drugs.
Goals used to ride a bicycle when looting and grabbing when he was an expert in running away even in traffic jams,” he said.
He said the recovery was made from a house near Lal Mandir.
Sho said the gang consisted of seven members who were five evading resistant.
Sachivallaya ASP Kamya Mishra said the police knew about the gang while investigating a bag of bag from a woman in the autorickshaw.
“The police tracked the owner of a restored cellphone.
Goal and Rajkumar criminal accounts are also being seen,” he said.
