Mangaluru: The police arrested four people and seized the alleged beef weighing around 160 kg on Thursday.
The base of beef is being transported from katasagod to ullal beef kiosk.

The police said that it was studied by cattle bought from a man identified as Mohammed in Bandiyod at the same time.
The cows were allegedly slaughtered in his house and were then transported to be distributed to the UC Ibrahim beef kiosk in Kodi and in Mukkacheri.
Three heads of animals and a piece of skin have been found in the car by the police.
The four defendants have been detained.
They have been identified by the police as Hussain, 24, from Chembugudde, Muhammed Mujambang, 25, Mohammed Ameen, 21, and Suhaib Akthar, 22, from Ullal.
The estimated value of meat confiscated is Rs 3.1 Lakh.
The case has been registered at the Ullal Police Station against four.
