Mumbai: Police Bhouwada investigated the recruitment encouragement where Dummy candidates emerged on behalf of the candidate for police police post on Tuesday capturing training institution instructors in Beed.
Police arrested Ganesh Pawar (25) for allegedly appearing for at least three candidates and scored 49 of 50 during a land test.
The police registered eight cases and arrested 11 people.
Those who were arrested were Balanath Pawar (30), Satish More (22), Bhagwan Takle (24), Vikas Salunkhe (28), Kundalik Shinde (25), Pravin Shinde (32), Dyaneshwar Ghodke (23) and Akash Kavhale (23 ).
The written test for the post from 1,076 Mumbai police police was held on November 14, while the field test was in the second and third week of December.
For written tests over 1.09 Lakh candidates appear; 10,760 Candidates are called for land tests.
The name of the pawar appeared in the last week of January, and since then two cases again appeared but he could not be found.
