Vadodara: want to file a complaint but don’t understand the legal steps? No fret.
City police will help you get out of your dilemma.
On Sunday, Minister of Home Affairs Pradipshinh Jadeja launched a counseling center that began by the police department in the city.
“This center will offer assistance to all residents including women, senior citizens and other people who face problems and often do not understand how to approach the police or get their complaints laid out.
Our counselor will expand assistance to such residents,” Shamsher Singh said City Police Commissioner.
The police department has been holding hands with the University M psychology department for counseling sessions.
This center will operate at Police Bhavan.
“Sometimes women victims of crime are confused whether they can take legal action or not.
They are not aware of their rights or about the compensation they have the right to.
The center will come to help them,” Singh told Toi.
