Palanpur: A businessman who was involved in the sand and trading of the stone was cheated after he sold two JCB and three other vehicles to the party in Junagadh.
According to the police, Rehmat Khan Munir Khan Makari from Bhaloda Aravalli Village has sold the vehicle to one Munna Mir, who he knew through the broker, about five months ago after he caused a loss in a pandemic.
Mir had a long history of criminal records, police said, who had arrested the defendant based on Khan complaints.
“But the vehicle can only be restored on Tuesday from a ceramic factory in Morbi,” said DSP Bharat Basiya to Ti.
Broker Farooqmia Kazi and Imran M Cheepa have introduced Mir to Rehmat Khan who sell two JCBs, two tractors and dumper to buyers.
But after Mir did not pay Khan money, he asked and realized that he had been cheated by the famous fraudster who had his own gang and many cases registered against him.
Brokers are also named in complaints to facilitate crime.
Basiya further said that Mir also had serious violations registered against it including kidnapping, murder, cheating and also under ARM.
The case that was delayed for five months was finally assigned to the Basiya, along with his team, reaching criminals.
