MySuru: City Police Station will immediately install a display board that tells the public about free legal assistance services.
Taking to know the justice of the Supreme Court of Lalit Law to ensure all police stations have a display board that informs about the right to legal assistance and free legal aid services, city police considers proposals.
Justice Lalit, who is also the executive chairman of the National Law Service Authority, recently stated that installing a board or posters with the availability of free legal aid services was the first step towards ensuring that no defendant remained untreated wherever the investigation stage or experiment .
Police Commissioner Chandragupta said the city police would definitely obey direction.
“The display board on free legal aid services will definitely be displayed at the police station.
Until now, the awareness of the availability of free legal services is being carried out regularly by police officers in connection with the District Law Service Authority,” he added.
The police station currently has a board with information about children and women’s help channels.
