Varanasi: BJP has proven its dominance in President Zila Panchayat in 10 regencies of Varanasi Zone.
After winning in Varanasi and wanted without being removed, the party proved his dominance in eight regencies left on Saturday.
While BJP candidates won in Chandauli, Ghazipur and Mirzapur, SP registered victory in Ballia and Azamgarh.
Two independents emerged to win in Jaunpur and Bhadohi districts, while the candidate Apna Dal (s) recorded a victory in the Sonbhadra district.
Previously, BJP Poonam Maurya candidate and Manoj Rai were selected not removed from Varanasi and wanted.
Shrikala Dhananjay Singh Independent Candidate, who is the wife of Mafia Don-edit-Politician Dhananjay Singh, won the position of Jaunpur District President Panchayat.
He defeated the nearest rival of Neelam Singh, as well as an independent candidate, with a margin of 15 votes.
He got 43 votes from a total of 83 votes.
Other contestants include Nishi Yadav from SP and Rita Patel of BJP Ad Alliance.
In the Ballia district, the post was won by the SP candidate for Anand Chowdhary, who defeated the BJP Supriya Yadav candidate with a nine votes margin.
While Anand got 33 votes, Supriya managed to take 24 votes.
Deenanath Sharma from BJP won Chandauli Panchayat District by beating Tej Nayan Yadav from SP.
Sharma got 30 votes while Yadav received five votes.
Bhadohi District Pan Pan Post goes to Anirudh Tripathi (independent), which claims BJP support and defeats other independent candidates Amit Singh.
Anirudh is the brother of BJP MLA Ravindranath Tripathi.
He got 20 votes, while Amit only got four votes.
Sapna Singh from BJP won the Ghazipur Panchayat district by beating Kusumlata from SP.
Sapna received 47 votes while Kusumlata got 20 votes.
SP candidate Vijay Yadav made a landslide victory in Azamgarh, the Parliamentary Constituency Sp Chief Akhilesh Yadav, by getting 79 votes, while his rival Sanjay Nishad from BJP only got six votes.
In the Sonbhadra district, the position was won by Radhika Patel of Apna Dal (s), who defeated Jay Prakash Pandey from SP.
He got 19 votes, while Pandey got 12 votes.
BJP Candidate Raju Kannojiya won the Pan President Pancident Pancident by beating Asha Gautam of SP.
Raju got 40 votes, while Asha only received four votes.
