Patna: RJD on Sunday states the names of 21 candidates for the empty 24 Vidhan parishad seat of the constituency of local authority.
The decision about seats Samastipur, Nawada and Purnia are still awaited.
According to the list, RJD has named the maximum caste candidate.
They include five Bhumihar, four Rajput and one brahmanic candidate.
Nine seats will have Yadav candidates, including Sanjay Yadav from the Grand Alliance CPI partner from Bhagalpur.
One Vaishya and a Muslim candidate will also try his luck on RJD tickets.
While announcing the candidates, the State President of RJD Jagadand Singh said the list was prepared by opposition leaders in the State Assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, after the proposal from the National President of the Prasad National Party.
RJD has announced Kartikeya Singh for Patna’s chair on Friday.
Kartikeya is a partner near Muscleman and former MLA Anand Singh.
In accordance with the names announced on Sunday, Anil Samrat will fight from the Bhojpur-Buxar and Rinu Yadav chair from style.
From Nalanda, Veermani Kumar aka Beaman Yadav will try his luck, while Krishna Kumar Singh, former MLC JD (U), will compete from the Rohas seat.
Anuj Singh has been named RJD candidate from Aurangabad while Sudhanshu Ranjan Pandey will contest from suggestions.
The other RJD candidate is Vinod Jaiswal (Siwan), Uday Shankar Yadav (Darbhanga), Rajesh Kumar Raushan aka Bablooo Dev (Champaran East), Saurav Kumar (West Champaran), Shambhu Singh (Muzaffarpur), Subodh Rai (Vaishali) and Khabbu Khirhar (Sitamarhi-Sheohar).
Munger-Jamui-Lakhisara-Sheikhpura chair will be contested by Ajay Singh.
Another Ajay Singh will be a RJD candidate from Saharsa-Madhepura-Supaul while Manohar Yadav will compete from the Begia-Khagaria chair.
The party has named Kundan Kumar from Katihar, Meraj Alam from Madhubani and Dilip Singh from Gopalganj.
