Post-covid disorders in children harm the organ above

Lucknow: Covid-19 Cases have decreased to neglected levels, but the residual effect of this disease poses a challenge with the case of multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) appears after recovery.
The doctor said that MIS-C was a serious condition in which organs such as the organs, lungs, kidneys, brains, skin, eyes or inflamed gastrointestinal organs caused damage.
It can happen for several reasons, but now, most cases are associated with Covid-19.
It has been seen that antibodies made in children and adolescents during Covid-19 continue to operate even after recovery.
Sometimes, these antibodies come out of control and begin to attack healthy cells from organs that produce inflammation.
About 50 cases of mis-c including five of Lucknow have been reported in the last three months in the two large centers of state capital.
The patients were especially aged between four and 18 years and had recovered from Covid-19 but developed Mis-C a month after recovery.
King George’s Medical University (KGMU) received 30 cases such as in all countries including five of Lucknow, while 20 patients from the East came to the Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIM) RAM.
The doctor at the two institutes confirmed that some of these patients also died of several organ failures, but the data had not been maintained because it was not “a disease that could be notified”.

“The surface of such symptoms must be taken seriously and the patient must be rushed to the hospital,” he added.
