Prasagraj: A group of 11 city-based dancers will conduct the folk dance ‘Dhediya’ ‘Dhediya’ Sangam, during the Republican Day Parade, 2022 in New Delhi on January 26.
After going through various levels of zon and state competitions, two dance groups from above.
It has been chosen to appear in the RD parade called “Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav”.
The Dance Group of Sanagm City, led by Dancer Supriya Singh Rawatt, will go for the National Capital on January 8.
They will provide further training by four famous choreographers for the Republican Day celebration.
The Ministry of Culture has launched ‘Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav’, the All-India dance competition, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The main objective of this competition is to choose talent dancing from all countries and give them the opportunity to appear during a cultural program in the RD parade.
The leader of the group and Dancer Supriya Singh Rawatat told TII, “36 dancer teams have been chosen through national competition to appear during the 2022 parade.
Apart from the dance group based in the city of Supriya Dance Group, Om Shree Vinayak Group of the State was also chosen to appear On the event.
He stated that it was the desire of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to have such competition organized as an event, which will show off the unity and integrity of the state Praying (Leader Group), Rangoli Tiwari, Anushree Dubey, Madhurima Shree, Kritika Agarwal, Prachi Yadav, Vartika Dubey, Saumya Chandra, Shehi, Prakriti Maurya and Kanishka Jaiswal.
Supriya said that a total of 65 groups consisting of 650 players have been made during the Grand Finale held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi on December 19 and a total of 36 keloms Pok, including two dance groups from Uttar Pradesh managed to make him a parade.
The ministry has invited a dance group entry under four categories – the people, classics, fusion and tribes.
A total of 3872 players from all over the country, including 180 Folk, 80 classics, 460 fusion and 70 tribes have registered them to show their talents between 17 and 25 November.
After registering entries, a total of 3,692 players have appeared at the state level of the competition was held in various events between 30 November and 4.
December, players have participated in various group competitions held in four cities – Kolkata, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
Grand Finale was held in Delhi on December 19, where a total of 650 players from 65 groups had done and 36 groups were finally chosen to appear in the parade.
