Pregnant women, unborn children died in hospitals, alleged negligence

Mangaluru: The family member of a pregnant woman from Vittal demanded action against private hospitals in Mangaluru, after his death and the death of the fetus before that.
City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar visited a private hospital in the afternoon on Friday, and said that the woman’s relatives, who claimed on Friday morning, were told about the death of the fetus.
At night, the family was told about maternal death.
About 20 people have gathered at the hospital, and accused medical negligence hospitals.
They demanded action to be taken to the hospital.
A police team also rushed to the place.

Unreasonable mortality reports have been registered at South Mangalore Police Station.
