Poinguinim: Head of the Pramod Sawant minister on Friday called the teacher not to prepare children to pass the exam but also prepare them for competitive exams.
He also said that a tribe museum vis-a-vis tribal research center will soon appear.
He spoke after Governor P S Seedharan Pillai inaugurated a new ashram school at Mushifond, near Pinguinim.

Sawant said that the new ashram school, which began in 1994, was finally finished after spending RS 35 Crore from tribal welfare funds.
This is one of the best schools in the state and will accommodate 500 students plus from Pernem to Canacona, he said.
