New Delhi: President of RAM Nath Kovind on Tuesday received the credentials of the state envoy, including Israel and Egypt, at a ceremony held in physical mode in Rashtrapati Bhavan for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
Those who present their credentials are Peggy Frantzen, Grand Duchy Ambassador from Luxembourg, Mateeja Vodeb Ghosh, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, Naor Gilon, Israeli Ambassador, and Wael Mohamed Awad Hamed, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, A statement issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
“This is the first event held in physical mode after the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.
Following a presentation of credentials, the President interacts with four ambassadors separately.
The President congratulated their messengers and hoped they managed to strengthen bilateral bonds and for the welfare and progress and prosperity of the friendly people, said the statement.
During his interaction, the President also highlights the close ties and diverse relationships distributed by India with their country, he said.
Through the Ambassador, Kovind also expressed his personal greetings to their leadership.
The ambassadors present at the event reaffirmed their commitment to work together to strengthen their relationship with India, said the statement.
