Kolkata: Together with government schools, some private schools in Kolkata will also join the Press Shikhalay program, giving students under class VIII the opportunity to interact with their teacher in the arrangement of open air after a two-year-induced gap induced.
Project Paray Shikhalay aims to bridge digital divide and allow elementary and secondary school students to attend physical classes outside the boundaries of classrooms.
Augustine’s Day School and Rammohan Mission School will start a program from Monday while the future foundation school has planned to start from February 9 February.
Each school has prepared the right schedule to avoid density.

Augustine’s school has circulated a notification that says, “Our school will set ‘Paraye Shikshalay’ or open air for our pre-primary and primary students.” The class will begin with primary students from 8:30 a.m.
until 10:30 a.m.
on Monday.
Principal Rodney Borneo said, “The class will be held on the school field while maintaining Covid rules.
We accept several emails from parents who want to send children to school.” Rammohan Mission School will start the program for V-VII class from Monday.
The principle of Sujay Biswas said, “We have divided the class into two slots – the first of 8:30 a.m.
until 10:30 a.m., and the second slot of 11:30 to 1.30 a night.” Future Foundation School will hold a class – for one hour – in the nearest playground from Wednesday.
School authorities have planned to hold a two-day training for classes before starting with the project.
“Parents and students from the primary part are very eager to attend the class, but we get a diverse reaction from high school students,” said the principal of Ranjan Mitter.
The state government has decided to restore the learning habits of teaching directly from the pre-primary class because, in the past two years, these children have never stepped into the school campus.
Bengal has started offline lessons in place for students of VIIII-XII from February 3, and has announced that students who are younger – to class VII – will have open space learning directly from Monday.
The state has prepared a schedule by mentioning the list of parks and open spaces that can be used.
Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has divided open space available to 23 circles and schools have been instructed to hold classes in the nearest area.
Minister of Education Minister Bratya Basu has stated that private schools can join hands with them if they want and some private schools forward.
