New Delhi: The body of a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound was found in a house in Chhattarpur South Delhi on Thursday morning, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjiv Sejal from Lado Sarai.
He is a property dealer, they said.
The police said they received a call around 4:45 a.m.
from a woman who said that she had shot himself on the fourth floor of the Rajpur JMD Estate building at Chhattarpur.
Sejwal came to the flat around 9pm on Wednesday, police said, added that someone else with him and they partyed.
“As soon as it was found dead in place and revolver was also found there.
The forensic examination of the crime scene has been done.
We are investigating the problem from all angles,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Mandava Harsha Vardhan.
The victim survived his wife and children.
There was a sign of a bullet injury on his head.
There are no records restored from the place, added the police.
