Mangaluru: The Pre-University Department of Education (DPUE) has decided to reduce Midterm’s English paper signs to 70, not 100.
This decision was taken for Sake students, said DPUE SNEHAL Director Rayamane.
He told Tii, that lecturers and students complained that this paper had several anomalies.
“After searching for a report from Dakshina Kannada DDPU CD Jayanna, we have now decided to leave questions worth 30 values.
Those questions from outside the syllabus, and some questions have grammar errors.
Therefore, we have decided to leave questions That, “Snehal said, adding that Dakshina Kannada DDPU was officially instricted in this matter.
Previously, it had come with two solutions: both the Grace Marks award or reduced the examination to 85 signs, not 100.
“After several meetings, we are now officially settled for 70 signs, which will be converted to 100,” Snehal said, added that this will help students who will lose value.
Students and lecturers praise DPUE’s decision, and add that it is taken at the right time.
The lecturer added that previously they were directed not to take the work of the English Midterm examination evaluation, until a clear direction from the department.
