PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry Union area has not reported Covid-19’s death since Wednesday (September 29).
The death toll remained at 1,840.
Puducherry has a maximum fatality with 1,443 followed by Karaikan (247), Yanam (106) and MAHE (44).
Fatal level of infection remains at 1.5%.
The health care authority in the Union Puducherry area has so far been tested by 18.02 Saman Swab Lakh for Covid-19 and 15.29 lakh infections from them have returned negative.
On Friday, they tested 5,012 samples that were 82 samples tested positively.

They have so far provided 10.15 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine to beneficiaries.
