Pue and Uom to increase intake in college

Mysuru: Cens Persenten Resulted in the Final Examination PUC SSLC and II this year has forced the Pre-University Education Department (PUE) and the University of Mysore (UOM) to increase intake in universities.

According to UOM VC G Hemantha Kumar, intake per section has increased by 20%.
“The intake permitted in universities has increased by 20% because of severe student rush,” he said.
“The number of intake varies from college to college,” he said.
He told me that more requests for courses related to trade when compared to science and humanities.
Meanwhile, the PU department also increases the maximum limit of students per section.
“Private Universities are permitted to recognize 100 students per section.
It is 80 previous students,” explained Srinivasa Murthy, DDPU, Mysore.Murthy said the PU part would be opened to accommodate more students in two government secondary schools namely the secondary school government in Hancha Mysore Taluk and Koppa, demand for science flow compared to trade and humanities.
