Kanpur: India Cricket Team Deputy captain Cheteshwar Pujara hopes that the form of his punch will continue in two test series against New Zealand.
Pujara is one of the pillars of the success of the Indian team in the test series in England earlier this year.
India has beaten England with 2-1.
Because his 227 runs in four tests against England, he was made a deputy captain of the Indian team.
During a virtual media conference, when he was asked what had changed, the mind or style of his batting, he said his mind was different in the English test series.
“I just fearless, there were no changes in my battaline technique,” he added.
So far, preparations for two test series against Kiwi have been good and I will play without fear of the visitors, Pujara said.
When asked that he hadn’t played three figures inning since 2019, he said it was not a problem.
“It’s good if 90 and 80 I walked help the team to win.
Previously, I used to emphasize too much pressure on my self since I scored 91 and 61 in Leeds and Oval,” he said.
“As far as I was worried, it would happen when it had to happen.
My job was good for the team and not because I hadn’t scored.
As long as I hit well and contributed to the team, I didn’t care about my hundred of me.
This is a problem one Round, “he said.” Someone does not need to give too much pressure on yourself.
Just go and enjoy the game rather than worry about what will happen.
Experience and play in our homes we help us, “Pujara said.
