Pune: A large number of workers and supporters of Shiv Sena gathered in front of the Shivajinagar police station on Tuesday morning “for the arrest of a court”, a day after a party member was held on Monday night in connection with the alleged manehandling leader BJP Somaiya on Saturday.
A total of 10 more Leaders of Sena – President of the Party Unit, Sanjay More, Yuva Sena Kiran Sali Leader, Suraj Lokhande, Akash Shinde, Rajendra Shinde, Nilesh Girme, Mukund Chavan, Akshay Phulsundar, Nilesh Jagtap and Rupesh Pawar – Arrested Tuesday morning after them came to the police station.
They were produced before the city court and were released with a guarantee.
Overall, 11 Sena workers and office carriers were arrested in this case.
