Pune: Two men entered the house on Friday in Pait Village near Chakan and robbed Mangalsutra and the gold chain collectively worth RS1.2 Lakh from a 55-year-old woman.
“My mother suffered an injury to her legs and her neck while fighting the duo.
He tried to chase them, but they escaped to take advantage of the dark and plants in our home near our house,” the son of the woman, who did not want to reveal his identity, to Ti.
He filed a complaint to the police Chakan on Saturday.
The son of a complainant, who lives in Mumbai, said that their homes were located on their farm.
“My parents lived alone there and looked after our farm.
On Friday around 7:30 p.m., my father left home for some work in the village,” he said.
He said that the duo was definitely near the house.
“They definitely heard my father told my mother that she would come out.
They knew my mother was alone at home,” he said.
They entered the house taking advantage of the door that was not locked.
The woman kicked one of the men who held her while the others won her.
He suffered several injuries in the neck.
He chased them and lifted an alarm.
