Pune: Two teenagers are transmitted through scooters, aged 17 and 14 years, pursuing and spoils a private company helper aged 35 years to death with a cement beam after he faces them for riding in Jadhavwadi on Friday night.
Chikhali police then traced and detained two teenagers based on the scooter registration number provided by several witnesses.
“The two young people are homeless without criminal records in the past,” Senior Inspector of Vasant Babar from Chikhali police told TII.
“We will register a separate case against two-wheeled owners to give the vehicle to two underage people,” he added.
He said the police had received a warning on Friday at around 6:45 pm that two unidentified people chased and attacked a man in front of a grocery store at Shiv Road at Jadhavwadi.
“Our team reached the place and took the injured person to the nearest hospital, where he was said to be killed by a doctor,” said Babar.
The victim, Sunil Sagar from Jadhavwadi, survived his wife and two small children.
He said an eyewitness told the police that the two suspects attacked the victim.
However, he fled and took refuge in a grocery store.
“Eyewitnesses told us that the duo then ran after the person and dragged him out of the store.
One of them then hit him with a cement block and duo escape.
He also shares the scooter registration number used by the duo.

Teenagers were transmitted through scooters to pedestrian deaths, holding the police on Saturday tracing scooters to Bhosari.
“The son of the owner of the scooter told us that on Friday, his two friends had borrowed two-wheeled vehicles to go to Chikhali to meet a friend,” said Babar.
The police on Sunday brought two teenagers to detention.
“During interrogation, the duo acknowledged their involvement in crime,” said Babar.
The officer said that on Friday night, the duo had destroyed the victim while riding a scooter in Shiv Road.
“After some heated arguments, the victim has slapped one of them.
