Pune: Regular commuter on the Karve road will be able to use a new bridge at Nal to stop in January if everything goes as planned, Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Mahametro) on Tuesday.
Working on the bridge which has begun in early 2019 as part of being underway is fully elevated by Vanaz-Ramwadi Metro Corridor.
It will be a two-level structure, with a metro train running at the upper level (bridge) and vehicle on the second deck.
Mahametro said he had just finished the construction of the bridge in this stretch and had shifted his focus on the bridge.
