Rohno Kalan: Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi on Monday says Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal should not just take Punjabis and understand that they are able to lead their own country and do not need “outsiders” like him.
Channi said this during his visit to Rohno Kalan Village near Khanna, where he inaugurated a sports park and a Panchayat building, a official statement said.
“Proud of Punjabis will never let outsiders like Kejriwal rule them,” he said.
Channi said the government applied the agenda of ordinary people while people like Kejriwal promised “months to people in Punjab, rather than work for ordinary people improvement in Delhi”.
“Kejriwal is the best in rolling a bundle of lies before the Punjab people,” he said.
“This is the same kejriwal as the election of Punjab Vidhan Sabha 2017 has provided a guarantee that he will throw (a sad leader) Bikram Singh Majithia behind the bar for his relationship with the drug mafia,” he said.
“And when AAP failed to form a government in Punjab, the same Kejriawal offered unconditional apologies to Majithia in court, it was also on AAP’s letterhead.
Families who have lost their sons because the threat of the drug will never forgive kejriwal,” he said.
Channi said the government had moved the wheels by not only ordering Majithia but the raid was also ongoing to catch it.
He said the relationship between “Chacha-Bhateja” between the former Chief of Minister Amarinder Singh and Bikram Singh Majithia “is now an open secret because the first has issued a statement after the Akali leader”.
At a separate event in Moga, Channi assured people that the government of the previous SAD-BJP alliance in the state would be guaranteed for “betrayal” carried out on Punjab and its people during the “Misrule Long Decade”.
He said the countries owe the explanation of Akalis “because it encourages young people to become drugs, suspend cases and bring countries on the verge of economic disaster”.
The beginning had been made with pine registration against former Minister of Manila Bikram Singh Majithia, he said.
Majithia has been ordered under the NDPS law.
Accused that Majithia “became a drug brand”, Channi said the former minister would soon be placed behind the bar.
Channi accused that sad leadership was in Cahoots with the BJP government in the middle for the implementation of three “black” agricultural laws.
He said Harsymrat Kaur Badal was an integral part of the central cabinet, which was “instrumental” in getting the law “Draconian” was framed and finally he was forced to get out of the cabinet after the anxiety of widespread people, especially farmers.
