Bhubaneswar: Hindu Jagran MANCH on Friday held a demonstration in protest against the decision of the State Government to provide sanctions around Rs 79 lakh from the aid of the Minister of Public Chief (CMRF) for the Missionary of Amal (MOC) .ON Tuesday, Naveen Patnik has sanctioned the amount of CMRF to support 13 Institutions run by MOC in the state.
These institutions (houses of leprosy and orphanages) have more than 900 inmates.
This step followed the central rejection to renew the FCRA license from the charity missionaries founded by Mother Teresa.
Manches led by the Secretary of State (Organization) Tanmay Das accused Naveen using CMRF funds to get sympathy from the minority community ahead of the upcoming rural and urban polls in the state.
“BJD must stop this relief politics by using CMRF funds,” said Das.das said usually CMRF funds are used to help people affected by natural disasters, those who need money for care and several other situations.
He said CMRF was not private property or the party’s chairman.
