Hyderabad: Two people suspected of being involved in preparing a false education certificate were arrested by the Hyderabad police duty wing on Saturday.
Official confiscated 220 false educational certificates, which included 63 degrees of Telangana University B and connected certificates, 130 University of Andhra B technology and connected certificate and 27 middle certificates from Maharashtra’s intermediary boards.
Four different cases were registered against the defendant.
The defendant Syed Naveed, who carried out the consultation of foreign education, and his employees Syed Owai Ali, a DTP operator, was arrested after the police carried out an attack in their office in Basheerbagh.
Naveed organizes visa processing businesses and other related works.
“Because his income is not enough, he hits plans to prepare false certificates and documents such as fake salary slips, medical fitness certificates, job offers and relief letters.
He collected ₹ 50,000 to ₹ 75,000 for his service,” said Police Commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar during the press meeting .
“Allegations scan the original certificate of candidates to prepare fake certificates.
He then edited the name and roll number using the software on the computer.
He edited these columns depending on customer requirements and provide a false education certificate,” Police said.
Using this certificate, the police suspect that some candidates may go abroad and others may use them to get promotions in their work.
