Rain: 3 More Dead Trekkers in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla: Three tourists, including a woman, died in a high snowched area in the Kinnaur district while the other 10 was saved safely on Sunday.
The group of 13 tourists was trekking from Janglik in the Rohru Sub-Division of Shimla District to Sangla in Kinnaur District through Burua-Kanda when they were left stranded in the snow which resulted in the death of three group members.
Within a week, 10 tourists have been found dead in the midst of snow in the Kinnaur district.
Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur, Apoorva Devgan said because of bad weather conditions and snow fell, three tourists had died.
He said as soon as the information was received, the assistance and rescue work had begun by Kinnaur District Administration.
He said the police team was sent to Barua-Kanda to save 10 tourists and late at night, all 10 tourists were evacuated safely and taken to Karchham.
He said the ITBP personnel team had been sent to the place to bring three bodies.
According to information received at the district headquarters, all of these tourists, including a woman belonging to Mumbai and Goa.
DC has asked all tourists and others come to Kinnaur District not to visit the high height area.
The warning was caused by bad weather and snow.
They are also advised to stay inside and keep the stone shots.
