Jaipur: Four days after a man was kidnapped because of Rsan Rs 50 Lakh, Kotwali police in Jhunjhunu on Friday saved the man from the office in Gurugram and arrested three people.
The police learned that the victim was kidnapped by people who had invested Rs 50 Lakh in a multi-level marketing company in December 2019 and the defendant kidnapped him to recover money.
The police broke the case by making the kidnappers believe that the victim’s mother carried a ransom for them.
According to the police, one Kamla Devi came to the Kotwali police station on February 1, said his son Manish Chaudhary, who was a travel agent, was gone and he got a ransom phone from the WhatSApp number of his son who asked Rs 40 Lakh who was then raised to Rs 50 Lakh.
“It is very difficult to track whatsapp calls.
Seeing the seriousness of this case, various teams are formed.
We passed almost 1600 CCTV recordings and asked more than 800 people.
It was found that Manish had gone to Gurugram by bus and de-boarded at 4:30 a.m.
