Jaipur: The university exam in all countries has been postponed and all markets in the city will remain closed on Sundays due to the REET exam.
Minister of Higher Education Bhanwar Singh Bhati on Wednesday announced that the university exam from September 25 to 27 will be postponed.
The decision was taken as a commuter the day before and after the REET exam would be difficult for students.
Universities in the state have been asked to decide which exam date can be done again.
About 20,000 students in Rajasthan will be affected by the decision.
More than 20 lakh students will write the reet exam on September 26.
Consider the number of students who will be present in the city for the REET exam, the Association of Traders in Jaipur has decided to close the market on Sunday.
Subhash Goyal, President Jaipur Vyapaar Mahasangh said that Jaipur Collector asked them to close the market.
“We understand administrative concerns.
Already, there is fear of legal-and-order problems.
So, we have decided to close the market to save traffic problems.
Shops for essential commodities, including vegetables, milk, medical and food ingredients will remain Open for people’s convenience.
“Previously on that day, the Chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot appealed to all political parties, social organizations and people to cooperate with administration and candidates in protecting the law.
The minister’s chairman appealed to people who did not spread rumors.
“A successful reet behavior is our responsibility for a bright future of young people,” he said.
Free trips from candidates in general and semi-deluxe buses have been provided from September 22 to October 9.
Candidates must produce exam licenses and will be allowed to take the bus connecting if there is a single destination bus.
This facility is not available for Deluxe / Sleeper / AC / Luxury buses.
